About Montgomery, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Montgomery, Texas is a picturesque small Texas town with a suburban ambiance that attracts families, retirees, and commuters in and out of Houston. The slower pace of life is attractive to some whose careers require that they work in the big city but who prefer small town living for them and their family. It is not hard to imagine what Montgomery has to offer such commuters – tree-lined streets, small shops, great schools and friendly neighbors are just a few amazing things about this community. The area is known for its moderate and mild weather year-round and sunshine is often on the weather forecast so kids are always in their yards playing ball, riding bikes or enjoying nature.

The locals treasure their natural resources just as much as they treasure their history. If you find yourself in Montgomery you cannot miss Fernland Historical Park. It is an educational park with samples of early Texas architecture and life in beautiful, lovingly maintained exhibits. Log homes, cabins and other lifelike artifacts and exhibits make this a must –see and the perfect way to pass the day on one of the Lone Star state’s trademark sunny days.  But, that is not all that there is to see in the way of local history. Old Montgomery Cemetery contains the grave sites of some of Montgomery's initial settlers. Historic structures in Montgomery consist of:

  • The Davis Cottage (and Museum)
  • First State Bank
  • the Old Montgomery Baptist Church
  • The Shelton-Smith House.

Locals love Lake Conroe which, despite being named Lake Conroe, is actually mostly located in unincorporated portions of the county. It is situated on the west fork of the San Jacinto River and is a popular destination for water sports and more.  It is the perfect spot to get some sun, enjoy friends and family and cool down in the hot Texas weather.
